Respirators! |
A new favorite make here at PHK are the one of a kind respirators. Mostly available at conventions these beauties usually come as a set with matching goggles and while themes may repeat designs never do. Each respirator is designed by me and decorated by hand. They started off quite simple but like all things that I love to make grew more and more elaborate with each batch. Now it takes a conscious effort not to make them so crazy they aren't functional.
Oh yeah, the respirators are fully functional and are the perfect accessory for the fashionable crafter working with spraypaint, dust and non toxic fumes.

Old Favorites
Some of my favorite pieces, quite a few are still available today, like the dome neclaces and horns, some have been retired like the beaded headbands, others return again and again in different forms like the flower crowns and other pieces are coming back....but we won't say which ones just yet.
A very special Commission
I was honored to work on an incredibly special set of commissions. One of my best friends was getting married and asked me to create her dream wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses based off of Sailor Moon's Princess Serenity and the Inner Senshi.
An insane amount of work went into each dress with so much more going into the bride's gown. The bride's gown featured hand made gold painted hoops across the top as well as yards of vintage hand beaded and hand stitched trims. The bridesmaids dresses also featured a band of vintage beaded trim. All dresses of course included their signature bows.
