My Frilly Love: Loita <3
What is Lolita?
The short answer is Lolita is a Japanese fashion subculture inspired by Rocco and Victorian fashion. It's a lot a frills, a lot of fluff and a lot of cute.
My Lolita story
I've always been into alternative fashions and I've always thought Japan was the place with the greatest sense of expression and diversity and acceptance of alternative fashions, so it was only a matter of time before those two loves met.
First I tried Decora (a long time fashion love that I revisit again and again.
Then I tried Gonguro.....that did not go so well tho now that I know more about doing makeup I will definitely try it again.
Then I spotted lolita and it was love at first sight, I will admit that I started my love of Lolita with a love of cosplay, the first Lolitas I ever saw were at Anime conventions tho I didn't know that they were not coplayers at first.
I will also admit that I sorta stalked Lolita fashion for a few years before ever attempting it and... my first attempts were sad. Considering that that was a year ago I've come a long way and in that time, I've actually started to turn Un-Re Designs away from a cosplay and costuming focus and more towards Lolita. Don't worry though Lolita isn't going to take over more than this little page and UnRe's Attic. Look forward though to a Lolita specific new label under the Un-Re Designs umbrella.
What can you expect to see here?
Lolita fashion of course. Dresses, Skirts, Jumper skirts, Accessories and more all handmade by yours truly.
